Wow can't believe it's a year since I said this last! Sorry it's so late but I have recently moved from Shetland to Aberdeenshire so I've been really busy as Christmas arrived just a couple of weeks after.

Great news! Wendy Shaw Textile Designer has a lovely new addition, 'Vintage Home'!

This exciting new element aims to embrace recycling and upcycling with retro and vintage pieces for the home including the lovely shabby chic closet full of carefully selected vintage textiles.
 
Also hope to include in the future upcycled furniture, handpainted and re covered using my own textiles to give the pieces a unique character.

I've been completely absorbed for the last few days in buiding my online shop which was another new challenge in itself!
 
I guess this is exactly what you have to do when starting a new business, you have to learn new skills and tackle whatever is necessary to get things up and running!
 
Anywho, the shop is now live and I'm hopeful that the hard work to get it open pays off as apparently this week is the optimum time for Christmas shoppers!

Last weekend was the Clickimin Christmas Craft Fair which was very well supported and busy every day. Since I graduated in BA Contemporary Textiles (with Distinction!)
