Hello! I've finally found the time to start my blog and thought I'd just fill you in on how things are going.
Last weekend was the Clickimin Christmas Craft Fair which was very well supported and busy every day. Since I graduated in BA Contemporary Textiles (with Distinction!) I have been flat out creating and adapting my Collection based on work I began for my graduation show. The Collection consists of around fifteen fine knit pieces for the home and unusual accessories in contemporary geometric design with a retro edge. Also to compliment these pieces are a range of dynamic contemporary lace design products exclusively designed and made in Shetland.I have exhibited my work in the Bonhoga Gallery on the westside of the Island and currently have a display in Islesburgh in the centre of Lerwick. Along with the afore mentioned and the Craft Fair my work is beginning to be known and being very well received. I have had so many wonderful positive comments so 'thank you!'
